Research Day Winners:

The Ron Stewart EMS Research Award for Most Significant Research in EMS Conducted by a Paramedic was awarded by Dr. David Hung to Mike Janczyszyn, ACP, for their study: Optimizing Deployment of Automated External Defibrillators for Out-of-Hospital Cardiac Arrest: A Province-wide Approach

 

The Top EMS Research Project was awarded by Dr. Mary-Lynn Watson to Mohammad Sultan, PhD, MD for their study: Evaluating the Impact of Critical Care Paramedics Performing Intubations in the Emergency Department: A Prospective Observational Study.

Dr. Sultan will be presenting at the DalEM Research Day in May 2026.
