Hello All,
It is with great pride that I present to you the 2025-26 Department of Emergency Medicine Annual Report. This year’s theme is “New Beginnings”, as the Department has seen the ground work for many new initiatives that will mark beginnings in our delivery of health care, including our cover page art of the brand new Emergency department at the IWK!
This report highlights many of the new and exciting things happening across the Department at all three of our academic sites – the IWK, Saint John Regional and the Halifax Infirmary, demonstrating our truly Maritime- based department and its extraordinary achievements. I thank all contributors and especially those faculty and partners who have assisted us in achieving our mission and goals.
