DalEM Saint John has successfully installed a wall-mounted big-screen monitor in the main trauma room in the Saint John Regional Hospital’s emergency department. 

Dr. Mark McGraw led the initiative to install an extra-large monitor in Saint John’s main trauma room

The purpose of the large-screen monitor is to make crucial information more readily available to the team at the bedside when managing critical patients. Kudos to Dr. Mark McGraw and Communications Director Dr. Janeske Vonkeman, as well as all the academic and clinical leadership teams for content development and other work on this project. 

The big screen provides information from the clinical information system (patient results, orders, electronic charts and more), as well as web resources from sjrhem.ca and other selected online sources, to support teams to provide the best possible care in urgent situations.
