DalEM welcomed 11 new residents across our various sites and programs this July. Faculty, staff and fellow residents look forward to seeing our new residents learn, grow and flourish over the years of their training.

Halifax Infirmary Site

The Halifax Infirmary site welcomed Dr. Breanna Hargreaves, Dr. Casey Jones and Dr. Regan McKeough to the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (RCPS) residency training program. Four residents embarked on the Enhanced Skills in Emergency Medicine (ESEM) Program: Dr. Cole Anderson, Dr. Emma Crawley, Dr. Emily Ertel, Dr. Marnie Jakab.

Saint John Regional Hospital Site

Two new residents joined Dalhousie Emergency Medicine Saint John in July. Dr. Leah Bennett and Dr. Jack Scobie are the most recent residents to embark on the integrated Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine Program (iFMEM).

IWK Health Centre Site

Two new residents joined the Division of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at the IWK Health Centre: Dr. Chansey Veinotte and Shashwat Desai.
