The Division of EMS manages two types of bursaries:

The Nigel Merchant Bursary is awarded annually to a student entering the study of medical laboratory technology or paramedic training and is be based on financial need.

The Division of EMS Research Bursaries support advancing the scientific knowledge of EMS/EHS. In particular, they’re used to encourage and support research and knowledge translation in EHS/EMS practice, education, systems and safety.
