The Prince Edward Island (PEI) Emergency Medicine Research Group was established in September 2015 with the goals of improving emergency care for islanders and strengthening collaboration within the Dalhousie University Department of Emergency Medicine. Members include physicians, nurses and paramedics.  Our research interests currently focus on prehospital care, disaster medicine, and medical education.  Our efforts are supported by strong ties between the research group, the University of Prince Edward Island and the paramedicine training programs at Holland College.
